The story behind…
Following a career in the professional world a career change into a horticultural setting has been a natural progression. With a passion for the outdoors and nature and a keen interest in design and the aesthetic, in particular architecture, interiors and their relation to the gardens we acquire.
Coupling my love of the creative, experience project management and a love of working with people face to face I decided to formalise these interests by pursuing a Garden Design qualification with the RHS. Little did I know how useful my degree in languages would be in helping me learn the long lists of botanical plant names in Latin. A knowledge I will enjoy building on for the rest of my life.
Working for English Heritage in the Kenilworth Castle Elizabethan gardens, designing and planting for friends and family has led to numerous projects including designing gardens for Developers, home owners and businesses.
